EnviroFone is the solution to disposing of your electric & electronic waste. It is the UAE national e-waste recycling programme and is under the Patronage of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). We are the only licenced operator in the Region for e-waste.

It stands for much more than the hundreds of thousands of old and broken mobile phones that we have collected.

The product we handle include but is not limited to: mobile phones and accessories, monitors, cables, CPU’s, computer peripherals and accessories, servers, routers, switches, keyboards, electronic kitchen and domestic items, DVD players, hi-fi’s, desk phones, wireless products – in fact, anything that has an electronic circuit board.

It is the service of choice for global, regional and UAE companies in ensuring their e-waste is recovered, managed and disposed of in environmentally friendly manner.

E-waste contains very harmful and toxic substances such as Berylium, Cadmium and Lithium. One complete mobile phone can contaminate upto 600,000 litres of water. Once this product enters land or water systems, it contaminates it and the result is water and land is contaminated and harmful to humans. The side effects are enormous - cancer, deficiencies and health problems.

All product that is received for recycling is documented, weighed, segregated and shipped locally or internationally for recycling to a recognized compliant recycler and all within the terms of the Basel Convention.
